About

I'm Json Knepper, and JKCA is my shop.

I've spent thirty years in tech and brand work. I'm based in Seal Beach and spend summers at my family's fish camp in Alaska.

The story

Sailfish caught off Cabo San Lucas
Cabo San Lucas · sailfish

The camp came first. Then Apple, then the shop.

I grew up working my parents' fish camp on the Kenai Peninsula, where the season is a hundred days long and every guest gets the same welcome on day one and day ninety.

I have been in tech since 1995: a repair store, then websites, then two years at Apple working with business customers, then two in financial services at FMC Financial Group. In 2011 I opened JKCA in Seal Beach.

The camp taught me the part of the job the diploma never mentions: show up on time, get it done, and go fish.
